What is WIT (What Is That) Mod
WIT (What Is That) Mod has a strange name but the feature it is about to bring to you will get you so familiar with things around you. It will display information about the target that your mouse are targeting at, the name and attributes and so on. So the function is quite the same as Waila Mod. For more detail, these are what currently displayed when your cursor points at something:
- The name of the block/entity and the mod
- ID and metadata
- Harvestability info
- Contents of inventories that sync with the client, including Storage Drawers
- Extra information added by other mods (example: the drying rack from Fun Ores)
Look at blocks and entities for basic information and sneak for more information. It also has a fancy sliding animation on the background just in case you want more fun. However, not all of blocks are completely recognized but most are.
In the config file, you are able to change many things for the formatting of most elements. The name of the mod is also added to the tooltips.
If WIT displays (TE) after a block’s name, it means it has a tile entity.
